When the phone rang this morning, I had to take deep breaths
before picking it up. She asked how I was doing and I told her that was
completely dependant upon what she had to say.
5 of them fertilized! 2 of those 5 didn’t do anything beyond
the initial fertilization. Under the microscope they could identify that a
sperm and an egg met, but nothing happened. But, there are 3 that ARE doing what
they are supposed to be doing. (Dividing, with cells doubling by the day. Remember those cell division lessons from Biology?)
It’s a small glimmer of hope, but it is hope and we will
take it for today!
